I have over 40 years of experience in leadership positions across industries (Financial Services, Information Technology, Media, and Pharma Industry) in India with business dealings across the globe.
I have in-depth experience in scaling up businesses, implementing and building a strong distribution network, and identifying new business avenues, business synergy, business acquisition targets, and strategic partnerships. I have handled various digitization initiatives for Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL) and its subsidiaries. During my career span I have developed and coached several senior level executives including at CEO level to grow in corporate world both within and outside my organization.

Advising companies on organization building and financial structuring including fund sourcing. Nurturing and coaching start up founders in taking their business from incubation level to the next level.

Serving as an Independent Director in a few Public Limited Companies. Previously served as a Managing Director of Westend Housing Finance Limited for a short span.

Guest speaker at Management Institutes, Professional Institutes, and Chambers of Commerce. Associate member of All India Management Association, Fellow Member of The Institute Of Cost Accountants Of India and Past Member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Group CFO and Head HR and Chairman of Management committee at Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL).
Scaled the business of SHCIL from US$ 4 million to US$ 400 million with Asset under Custody (AUC) at US$ 700 billion through various financial structuring including arranging for funds.
Headed the Custodial Services business and set up the Retail Financial Services Business (DP, Broking, Derivatives, eStamping, Mutual Fund Bond, and Insurance Distribution) with more than 250 offices across the country.
Spearheaded SHCIL’s Digital Transformation and was instrumental in various strategic initiatives in setting up subsidiaries (including being on their board), augmenting the growth of the group.
Completed Executive Education programs from Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth, Harvard Business School, and MIT Sloan Management Executive Education. Executive Coach from TSW Executive Education Empowers under Marshal Goldsmith.

Prior to joining SHCIL, worked in various capacities at Pfizer, Nelco (a Tata Company), Bennet Coleman (The Times Group), and Sonodyne in the areas of finance, strategic planning, business development, and system development.

Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Science from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta University, Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountant of India (ICAI) with a certificate of merit in the final exam, and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the USA.
